Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Ruby & Diamond Ring

379P
Written by Olly Gerrish

A really pretty 18ct gold ring set with an oval cut ruby with two graded diamonds on either side. It was made circa 1910 when platinum was commonly used to set diamonds. There is a lovely contrast on this ring of the white platinum with the yellow gold claws over the ruby. The ruby is a really good strong colour. It would make a wonderful engagement ring.
