Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Opal & Diamond Cluster Ring

241W

Written by Olly Gerrish

A ring for opal lovers that was made circa 1910-1920.  The shank is 18ct yellow gold and the top is platinum. The opal is a stunning colour displaying bright flashes of red, green and blue and has been rub over set with millegrain detail.  Around it are fourteen well matched good white diamonds within scalloped and millegrained settings.  It looks amazing when worn as it sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear
