Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Large Diamond Cluster Ring

555U
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a spectacular 18ct gold cluster ring that was made circa 1900-1910. It has been claw set in platinum with a large old European cut diamond that weighs approximately 2.20 carats.  It is a good mid to high colour. Around it are nine well matched platinum claw set old European cut diamonds that have a total estimated weight of 1.80 carats. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring. It looks amazing when worn. This ring is accompanied with a gemmological certificate stating that the diamonds are old European cut stones and the weights are as stated in the above description
