Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum Hatchet Tie Pin set with a Pearl

327T
240 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This novelty tie pin could have been gifted as a peace offering. After all “To bury the hatchet” refers to a peace agreement between two people or peoples. It is beautifully made in 18ct gold with the axe head in platinum and a natural pearl. All our tie pins come with a stopper at the end of the pin.

Ollys Pick

I welcome any more theories about the symbolism of this tie pin!
