Edwardian 18ct Gold & Platinum, Black Opal & Diamond Cluster Ring by Charles Green & Sons

160X
120 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A pretty black opal and diamond oval ring that was made circa 1910-1920. The lively black opal displays a lot of red, blue and green. It is surrounded by fourteen diamonds within platinum settings.  Black opal rings are very sought after especially from the Edwardian and Art Deco periods. It is a beautifully made ring by the well known firm Charles Green and Sons based in Birmingham.

It is a neat ring as it sits low on the finger and can be worn either as an engagement or a dress ring.
