Written by Olly Gerrish

A very good quality 18ct gold ring that was made in 1916 in Chester. Rings that were made in Chester are in general wonderful quality and often have decorative scroll work shoulders such as this ring. It has been set with three well matched opals with small diamonds in between. Opal has always been associated with love and passion. Wearing an opal is said to bring about loyalty and faithfulness. It would be suitable as a dress ring or an engagement ring.
