Edwardian 18ct Gold, Moonstone, Enamel & Rose Diamond Ring

576N

Written by Olly Gerrish

A very unusual 18ct gold ring that has been enamelled in a strawberry red enamel with small rose diamonds. In the centre is a cabochon moonstone. With a silvery bluish light that seems to come from within, moonstone has many associations with the Moon. It has a long history of use as a talisman for fertility, love, protection, and travel. It is also associated with people born in may and also born on a monday “Moonday”. The red enamel further accentuates Love and the little twinkly diamonds are the Eternal stars. What a perfect ring to give to someone you love.
