Edwardian 18ct Gold Heart Shaped Opal and Diamond Ring

432U
720 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very romantic 18ct gold opal and diamond ring that was made in 1903 in Birmingham. The lively opals have been beautifully cut into heart shapes and there are two old mine cut diamonds set in the middle. Diamonds represent eternity so this ring coupled with the heart shaped opals has a lovely sentiment. It is important to take care when wearing this ring as opals are fragile stones so it would make a lovely dress ring.
