Edwardian 18ct Gold, Green Garnet & Diamond Five Stone Ring

140S
520 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A pretty 18ct gold ring that was made in London in 1906. It has been set with three demantoid garnets or green garnets as they are often called. These stones were sourced in Russia which produced the most beautiful vibrant green garnets known to the market. It is the most valuable garnet available on the market today so is sought after by collectors. In between the green garnets are two old mine cut diamonds. The stones are set down in the shank with a ridged edge that protects them, so making it a practical ring to wear.
