Edwardian 18ct Gold, Green Garnet & Diamond Cluster Ring

230R
501 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a gorgeous 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1900-1910. It is composed of a cluster within a hexagonal surround. There is a central diamond that is surrounded by six demantoid garnets or green garnets as they are often termed as. These stones were sourced in Russia which produced the most beautiful vibrant green garnets known to the market. It is the most valuable garnet available on the market today so is sought after by collectors. Around the garnets in a hexagonal design are small well matched diamonds. The shoulders are trifurcated and make the ring look lighter. It is an unusual ring and would be ideal as a dress or an engagement ring.
