Edwardian 18ct Gold Diamond & Two Natural Split Pearls Ring

475P
675 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1900. It has been set with two natural split pearls with a transition cut diamond within a star setting in the centre. It has a sweet meaning. The diamond is for “Eternal love” and according to history and the myths, pearls are symbolic of wisdom gained through experience. They are also believed to offer protection, as well as attract good luck and wealth and are symbolic of the wearer’s loyalty, generosity, integrity, and purity.
