Edwardian 18ct Gold Diamond Solitaire Earrings with Rose Diamonds Above

Written by Olly Gerrish

A useful pair of 18ct gold earrings that were most likely made in France circa 1910. They have a pretty fleur de lys claw design in each earring that holds an old mine cut diamond. Above is a small rose diamond. The hinged wires enter through the back of the ear and clip in to the top of the earring. This style is sometimes called “Dormeuse” because you can sleep with them on!
