Edwardian 18ct Gold Carved Half Hoop Ring set with Green Tourmalines & Diamonds

306Y
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold five stone ring that was assayed in London in 1901.  It has been claw set with three old mine cut diamonds and two green tourmalines with small rose diamonds points in between that serve to give the ring a good line. Green tourmaline attracts luck, success, abundance and prosperity.  Tourmaline is also given to celebrate the eighth wedding anniversary and is the birthstone for the month of October so there are plenty of meanings attached to this beautiful stone.

The pretty scroll motifs along the sides of the ring give its name “Carved half hoop”.

It can be worn on its own or stacked with other bands.
