Edwardian 15ct Gold, Green Enamel & Gem Set Dearest Bracelet

649U
209 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A rare 15ct gold bracelet that was made circa 1900-1910. It is composed of seven green enamelled “E” s interspersed with gem stones that spell “Dearest” so it would have been a wonderful gift to Elizabeth, Emily or another girl’s name beginning with E. The gem stones are Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald Sapphire and Topaz. Antique jewellery often has hidden meanings and this bracelet is a wonderful survival of a time when love was expressed through jewels.
