Early 20th Century 18ct White Gold Ring set with a Cabochon Cut Rhodonite & Diamonds

Written by Olly Gerrish

An interesting ring that has been set with a high cabochon cut Rhodonite. Rhodonite is a pink manganese silicate with black veining that we don’t ever see in jewellery that we come across, so maybe this was a special commission.  It is surrounded by small old mine cut diamonds. It is 18ct white gold and was made circa 1920.
