Early 20th Century 18ct White Gold & Platinum, Diamond Crossover Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A very pretty 18ct white gold crossover ring that was made circa 1920. It is a crossover design with a difference as the two larger diamonds are in diamond shaped platinum settings. On either side are diamond set shoulders with buckle detailing. This style of ring is often called “Toi et Moi” as it represents the union of two people.  It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring.
