Early 20th Century 18ct Gold, Square Cut Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

A gorgeous 18ct gold ring that was made in 1938. It has been set with a lovely square cut emerald within a pinched collet setting. The emerald is a beautiful saturated green colour. Around it are ten claw set graduated old mine cut diamonds. They are really well matched and bright white stones. There is a larger diamond at the top and bottom that gives this ring a gentle curved shape. The trifurcated shoulders lighten the shank. This ring would be an ideal dress or engagement ring.
