Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum, Three Stone Opal & Diamond Ring

A good looking 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made in the early 1930s. It has been claw set with a lively opal flanked by two old European cut diamonds. Opals are lovely stones that exhibit a myriad of colours. They are usually cut en cabochon which displays their optical effect beautifully as in this ring. A lovely ring to wear either as a dress ring or an engagement ring.
