Early 20th Century 18ct Gold, Platinum, Emerald & Diamond Ring

204Y
80 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A beautiful and unusual ring made from 18ct gold and platinum. The ring is set with a square cut emerald and two pear shaped emeralds that weigh a total of approximately 0.60 carats. They are a stunning deep green colour. The ring also features four old mine cut diamonds that have a combined total weight of approximately 0.40 carats. This ring was made circa 1910-1920 and is typical of it’s period as it has the geometry of Art Deco designs combined with the softness of the Edwardian era. We have never come across a ring quite like this. The platinum setting features a millgrain edge and the ring sits low on the finger making it more practical to wear. We all love this design!
