Early 20th Century 14ct Gold & Platinum, Aquamarine Ruby & Diamond Ring

244W
240 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A most unusual 14ct gold ring that was made circa 1920 and is most likely of Austrian origin. In the centre is a beautiful claw set emerald cut aquamarine that has an estimated weight of nearly four carats. It is a gorgeous colour and is rightly called aquamarine after the sea water colour. Around it are small rubies set in yellow gold then an outer ring of claw set diamonds in white gold settings. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear.

Ollys Pick

I love the combination of stones in this glorious ring!
