Written by Olly Gerrish

A really impressive large 14ct gold ring that was most likely made in Germany circa 1920. It has been set with a carnelian with a carved intaglio of an eagle and a shield and the words “Pluribus unum” latin for “Out of many” It was the traditional motto of the United States of America appearing on the Great Seal from 1782 onwards. It referenced the fact that the single nation was formed as the result of the thirteen smaller colonies joining together. On either side is an old mine cut diamond. A great ring for an American patriot.
