Early 19th Century 18ct Gold & Foiled Citrine & Rose Diamond Ring

818S
120 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1820. It was imported at a later date in to France so it may have been made in Austria or Germany. The citrine is pinched collet set in 18ct gold and is a wonderful orange yellow colour. It has been foiled so it has a lovely luminous quality. Around it are rose diamonds set in silver settings. The trifurcated shank gives the ring a light look.

Ollys Pick

I love this early 19th century period.
