Art Deco Three Stone Cognac & White Diamond Crossover Ring

Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1930. It has been set with a lovely cognac coloured diamond in the centre that weighs over half a carat. It has a white diamond on either side within a twist design. Brown diamonds get their colour due to the presence of nitrogen during the formation of the stone. The more nitrogen present, the higher the saturation and the deeper the brownish colour of the stone. The creation process takes millions of years. It is a stunning ring that was would make a fantastic engagement ring
