Art Deco Silver & Marcasite Bow Brooch

415S
440 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A well designed silver bow brooch that was made in the 1920s. It almost looks like ribbon material and has been set with graduated marcasite (iron pyrites). Marcasite was so often used in the Art Deco period as it looks like rose diamonds and has a wonderful subtle glitter. Perfect worn on a velvet lapel for a rich and stylish look.
