Art Deco Platinum, Emerald & Diamond Octagonal Cluster Ring

167R
Written by Olly Gerrish

A well designed platinum ring that was made in the 1920-1940 period. It has been set with an emerald cut emerald within a yellow gold surround. The emerald is a lovely mid green colour and is most likely of Columbian origin. It is surrounded in an octagonal design by seventeen well matched good white diamonds within millgrained settings. The gallery is composed of a neat swirly design. It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement or dress ring
