Art Deco Platinum, Diamond & Ruby Rectangular Shaped Ace of Hearts Ring

810R
720 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a beautiful and very unusual platinum ring that was made in the 1920s. It has been so well made with fine pierced detailing in the design. There is further millgrain detail throughout. The subject is the ace of hearts. Traditionally the Ace of Hearts is a card of love, happiness and celebrations. The Ace combined with the Heart may indicate the beginning of a new love. The number 1 also symbolises the beginning. The heart has been set with shaped rubies surrounded by bright white graded diamonds within a rectangular shape. The shoulders have also been set with diamonds. It sits low on the finger so it is practical to wear and is a really top quality eye catching ring.
