Written by Olly Gerrish

Zircons are fascinating stones and have been worn and treasured since ancient times. They have a wonderful lustre and brilliance and come in a variety of colours. The most favoured colour in the Art Deco period was blue as in this ring which was made in the 1920s. The shank is 18ct white gold and the top is platinum. The claw set zircon that has an approximate weight of just over five carats and is surrounded by diamonds with radiating concave diamond set shoulders.

An amazing ring that will be sure to attract a lot of attention.
