Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual 18ct white gold ring that was made in the 1920s. It has been claw set with a pretty pale green cushion cut chrysoberyl, also known as chrysolite. The word chrysolite comes from the Greek root meaning, simply, “Golden Stone”. On either side stepped down within crescent settings are two small diamonds. It would make a beautiful engagement ring.
