Early 20th Century 18ct Gold & Platinum Oval Ring set with Diamonds

52T
800 Admirers
Written by Olly Gerrish

A 14ct white gold Art Deco oval shaped ring that was made in the 1920s in either Austria or Germany. It has been set with a central transitional cut diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds in a shallow domed shape within millgrained settings and an ornate pierced sunburst design. The top is platinum and the shank is 18ct gold. It was most likely made in Germany or Austria circa 1920 and is typical of the Art Deco period. It would make a marvellous dress or engagement ring.
