Art Deco 18ct Gold & Diamond Navette Shaped Ring

An unusual 18ct gold and platinum ring that was made in the 1920s.  In the centre is a transitional cut diamond. Around it in a pierced work design are graduated rose diamonds and small cut transition cut diamonds in the shoulders.  There is millegrain detail throughout.  It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear as an engagement ring.
