It has been engraved with the Prince of Wales feathers. The feathers date back to Edward, the Black Prince (1330-1376) who was the heir apparent to Edward 111. Edward 111 chose three ostrich feathers as an alternative to his Royal Arms described as his “Shield for Peace”. A neat ring to wear.
