Written by Olly Gerrish

A pretty gilded silver and white enamel necklace that was made in the 1940-1950 period by Elvic and Company. The design is three repeated waves enamelled with translucent creamy white enamel with a curved silver design beneath. The company was named after it’s founder Nils Elvik (1853-1935) Elvik & Co who were based in Oslo, Norway. This necklace is typical of mid 20th century modern Scandinavian design and looks lovely when worn.
