A lovely 18ct white gold wedding ring that was made in Birmingham in 1956 by Alabaster & Wilson. For more than 100 years, Alabaster & Wilson Ltd were based in Birmingham and closed in 2018. They symbolised expert craftsmanship and the manufacture of very fine jewellery in England and have made high quality pieces for many of the leading jewellery companies such as Cartier. This ring has a lovely continuous laurel leaf motif. The laurel leaf is a symbol of strength, honour and endurance, but also of peace nobility and harmony.
