A good heavy gage 18ct gold knot ring. It was made in 1915 in Birmingham. It is set with a ruby in the centre and two diamonds. Lover’s knot rings were popular in the early 1900s. The meaning was “Eternal love that cannot be untied” The use of the ruby and diamonds also symbolises “Eternal love”
