A special 18ct gold and platinum watch that was made in the early 1920s by La Cloche Freres. Lacloche Fr\u00e8res was a Spanish jewellery house known for its Art Deco jewellery and objects. The firm was founded in 1875 by four brothers in Madrid. During the 1920\u2019s and 30\u2019s, the brothers were famous for their brightly coloured, geometric \u201clacquered and enamelled cigarette and vanity cases, set with diamond and precious stone decorative motifs of mixed inspiration. This watch is typical of the fine workmanship. It has been enamelled in Royal blue guilloche enamel with a radiating design engraved beneath and small diamonds in a flower shape in the centre. Around the edge are diamonds and on the top set in to the bale with a cabochon sapphire winder. The reverse is the watch face.
