It was made in the early 1920s. It is a wonderful design that flows under and over with a continuous line of graduated calibre cut rubies with graduated old mine cut diamonds in between. The shoulders have stylised leaves each set with a diamond. There is millgrain detail throughout. The top is platinum and the shank is 18ct yellow gold. The reverse is a sign of quality as the settings have all been hand filed. An old jeweller friend always told me to always look at the reverse of a piece as that tells you what the overall workmanship is likely to be.
