The workmanship is superb with great attention to fine detail. It is composed of flowers and leaves in varying shapes and sizes and different colours of gold, yellow green and red. It is a continuous line of articulated flowers. Even the clasp is hidden under a flower. There is a hinged section in the middle that folds down so you could attach something else from it. Victorian necklaces often have these fittings.
