Victorian Three Colour 18ct Gold Wedding Ring with Laurel Leaf Motif

7T
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A wonderful 18ct three colour gold wedding band that was made in Birmingham in 1880. It has a laurel leaf motif that continues around the ring. The leaves are red and lemon yellow gold. The Laurel is a sign of strength. It is not only a symbol of honour and endurance, but also of peace, nobility and harmony. The background is a lovely buttery yellow gold. The edges are a bobble design. An unusual wedding band. Please note this ring cannot be sized.

Ollys Pick

A beautiful wedding band. Very hard to find nowadays.
