Victorian Silver Albertina Bracelet

365R
Written by Olly Gerrish

These ornate chains were originally intended to be worn through a button hole and down to a pocket with further items like keys and a watch attached.  Nowadays they are worn as bracelets as they look so attractive.  This example has two engraved hearts and an engraved ball with repoussee decoration. There is a dog clip, a tassel and a bar with decorative chains in between. A fun bracelet to wear that was made circa 1880.
