Victorian Coily Snake Brooch / Pendant set with Diamonds

997N
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very unusual and finely made snake pendant that can also be worn as a brooch. It was made circa 1860. It has been set with graded diamonds. The snake means “Eternal love” and this is reinforced by the shape in the body. There is a small in the snake’s eye. This jewel was given as a token of love and is so charming because of it’s hidden meanings.
