Victorian 18ct Gold, Three Stone Diamond Ring

827T
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

This is a fabulous three stone diamond ring that was made circa 1880-1900. The claw set diamonds are well matched stones with an estimated total weight of just under three carats. It is a lovely balanced design with the larger diamond in the centre. The 18ct yellow gold shank has an interesting fluted design where it meets the top and the stones have been set in silver. It sits low on the finger and curves around it beautifully. The ring is accompanied by a gemmological report stating that the diamonds are natural stones (colour approx I-J / clarity approx VS2-I1) with an estimated total weight of 2.90 caratsIt would make an amazing engagement ring.
