Victorian 18ct Gold Snake Ring set with a Diamond & Ruby Eyes

166P
Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

A very good looking 18ct gold snake ring that was made circa 1880. It has been set with an old mine cut diamond in his head and has two ruby set eyes. Snake rings were very popular in the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian periods as they represented “Eternal love and wisdom”. It was made by the well known firm Charles Green who are known for good quality jewellery. It can be worn by a man or a woman. This ring can be resized, though please note there may be an additional charge to increase by more than three sizes.
