The Honourable Windham Baring was born on 29 September 1880. He was the son of Major Rt. Hon. Evelyn Baring, 1st Earl of Cromer and Ethel Errington. He married Lady Gweneth Frida Ponsonby, daughter of Edward Ponsonby, 8th Earl of Bessborough and Blanche Vere Guest, on 10 July 1913.He had three children.He died on 28 December 1922 at age 42
He fought in the First World War and gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.
He was managing director of Baring Brothers and was also the director of the Buenos Aires Great Southern Railway.
