216M
Written by Olly Gerrish

An interesting 18ct gold seal that was made circa 1860-1880. The design is a fleur-de-lis motif which is a stylised lily composed of three petals bound together near their bases. It is especially known from the former royal arms of France, in which it appears in gold on a blue field. This seal has “A” engraved on the base.
