Victorian 18ct Gold, Ruby & Diamond Five Stone Ring

826R
Written by Olly Gerrish

A good looking gold ring that was made in Birmingham in 1898. It has been set with three well matched rubies that are most likely of Burmese origin as they are a lovely pigeon blood red colour. In between the rubies are claw set diamonds. There are further small rose , as they are called, above and below the main stones. This was a invention and serves to give the ring a good line on both sides. A lovely engagement ring or wedding anniversary ring.
