Victorian 18ct Gold, natural Split Pearl & Enamel Miniature Pendant

This piece is a very finely painted miniature in of cherubs cutting sheaves of corn. It is a charming allegory of summer. The oval enamel plaque is set in to an gold mount with split decoration. It has a bow at the top and a pearl drop. It was made circa 1860, most likely in France or Switzerland. It has a glazed locket section to the reverse.
