Victorian 18ct Gold Gypsy Ring set with a Diamond within a Star Setting

786W
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual take on a traditional gypsy ring. It has been set with a old mine cut diamond within a star setting which was traditionally a symbol of good luck and fortune . On either side is a flared anthemion design. This 18ct gold ring was assayed in Chester in 1898.

It sits low on the finger so it is a practical ring to wear on a daily basis.
