Victorian 18ct Gold, Emerald & Diamond Pear Shaped Ring

688N
40 Admirers Rare Find
Written by Olly Gerrish

An unusual and beautiful 18ct gold ring that was made in the 1880s. It has been claw set with a pear shaped emerald surrounded by fifteen diamonds. The emerald is of Columbian origin and is a really good colour. The shank is pierced on either side which lightens the design. It would make an ideal engagement or dress ring.

Ollys Pick

So hard to find the good original emerald rings and this one is a superb example. My favourite ring at the moment!
