Victorian 18ct Gold, Emerald & Diamond Five Stone Ring

164W
Written by Olly Gerrish

A lovely 18ct gold ring that was made circa 1880. It has been claw set with three good emeralds that are most likely of Columbian origin. In between the emeralds are old mine cut diamonds. There are also tiny diamond points as they are called above and below  the diamonds that give the ring a good line. The shank is called a carved half hoop due to the decorative design on the sides. It would make a wonderful engagement ring.
