The Responsible Choice
Buying antique jewellery is both ethical and eco-friendly as harmful and destructive mining processes are not needed to make an item yours. So give yourself a pat on the back!
Find Out MoreA rare 18ct75% pure gold (or 750 parts pure gold and 250 parts other metals) gold bracelet that was made circa 1850. It has eight painted landscapes depicting the Mughal Empire in India. They are very finely painted views of among other places, 1, the Golden Temple in Amritsar, 2. The Taj Mahal Agra, 4. Qutub Minar Pillar, Delhi, 7. Another view of The Taj Mahal, from the river, 8. Agra Fort. Each miniature has a rope design around it. This bracelet may well have been part of a set of jewellery and would most likely have been sold to the English ex patriots.
This is the best example I have come across as the miniatures are not discoloured and in pristine condition.
